I’m so glad you found your way to Lavender & Ivy Wellness! My name is Victoria (she/they) and I am a mental health therapist & doula based in Madison, WI.
A little about me: I am originally from Minnesota, but attended Wartburg College in Iowa for my undergraduate degree in political science and social work. I found my way to Madison by attending UW-Madison and completing my Masters degree in social work & direct practice mental health. In my free time, I love running, gymnastics, yoga, traveling, watching reality TV, and spending time with my partner and our two dogs, Mango & Cisco!
As a therapist, I support individuals and couples and specialize in pregnancy and postpartum/perinatal mental health, anxiety disorders, sex & relationships, neurodivergence, and providing LGBTQIA+-affirming care. I believe in creating a welcoming, safe space that allows people to be themselves and talk about the hard things in life.
I am a birth & postpartum doula that has a passion for support both birth center and hospital births. I truly enjoy getting to know and support new & expecting parents throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey. Birth can be beautiful & empowering and I aim to support that in my client’s experiences. It’s also important to feel supported not only in labor, but as new parents at home. I am a certified birth doula through DONA international and currently working on certification as a postpartum doula. I am also a Certified Childbirth Educator through Birth Beautifully.
