This one-on-one childbirth education class is evidenced-based, personalized, and is inclusive of queer and trans parents and families. I recognize that every family is different and strive to meet parents where they are by taking a person-centered approach to teaching. I believe in offering unbiased education that allows all parents to make choices that best support them and their family.
Private Classes
One-on-one, personalized childbirth education in a 3 class series. Classes can be either virtually or in-person.

We cover a variety of topics, including:
Ways to manage discomfort in pregnancy
Stages of labor
Interventions and how to communicate preferences with providers
Comfort measures for labor
How partners and non-birthing parents can provide support
Basic newborn care
Lactation, breast/bodyfeeding, and formula feeding

Support in creating a birth plan
I offer the opportunity and support to explore your birth preferences during our classes. As a doula, I have knowledge of the different interventions & pain management options offered by the hospitals in the Madison area and can provide insight into how to craft your birth plan.
Unlimited text, call, and email support
Once you book your childbirth education classes, I provide unlimited text, call, and email support during pregnancy & postpartum. This could include questions about your birth preferences, newborn care, lactation or infant feeding, and much more!
Discounts on other services
If you book both childbirth education classes and birth or postpartum doula services through Lavender & Ivy Wellness, you will receive $50 off your doula package. If you book childbirth education, birth doula, and postpartum doula services, you will receive a $100 discount.
